Role: Senior Software Engineer 👨💻
- Own projects from conception to implementation
- Design scalable systems that can withstand hyper-growth
- Collaborate with peers to ensure bug-free production releases
- Elevate engineering standards and development tooling
- Participate in system design discussions across product and engineering teams
Requirements: A Solid Foundation 📚
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in software development (Go, Java, Scala, Python, etc.) in a professional setting
- Familiarity with systems and patterns for creating scalable solutions
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for production code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have: Additional Skills and Interests 💡
- Experience with Go and/or React-Typescript
- Expertise in distributed systems and/or micro-services at scale
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Experience with event-driven systems
- An insatiable appetite for software news (hello, Hacker News!)
