About Woven by Toyota 🚗
Woven by Toyota, part of the Toyota Group, is transforming mobility through human-centric innovation. With our AD/ADAS technology, automotive software platform Arene OS, mobility test course Toyota Woven City, and growth fund Woven Capital, we're pioneering the movement of people, goods, information, and energy. Our goal is to create a future of enhanced safety, connectivity, and well-being for all.
TEAM 👥
Toyota is redefining mobility by enhancing the movement of people, goods, information, and energy. Centered around three core concepts - A Living Laboratory™, Human-Centered, and Ever Evolving City™ - Woven City serves as a test course for mobility to fulfill our purpose of well-being for all.
We bring together a diverse community of people passionate about the future of mobility. Together, we co-create, develop, and refine innovative products and services. This cross-section of social infrastructure, mobility, and people provides a unique opportunity for inventors, residents, and visitors to interact seamlessly with new technologies in a real-city environment.
Our big challenges for engineers are:
- Develop platform and services as a mixture of hardware and software, running in the cloud and at the edge.
- Make our services competitive with TPS (Toyota Production System), the origin of "Lean manufacturing system" or "Just-in-Time (JIT) system."
Our team will develop innovative logistics services essential to the city. As a first-party developer, we'll also build a platform for third-party partners to participate. We're responsible for applications, core functionality, and capabilities as the logistics platform.
