The Role
We are seeking a passionate, values aligned, growth-oriented CPO to join our team of 5 and bring the Ovio platform to the next stage. You will play a highly strategic role. The position is responsible for setting Ovio’s product vision, strategy, and implementation.
- Establish, direct and communicate the product vision and direction, and lead all aspects of Ovio’s next generation product management, design, strategy, and corporate development; prioritizing product initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of existing, near term and future product strategies.
- Establish a strategic plan and lead efforts to identify and execute on required partnership and integration opportunities.
- Oversee product lifecycle management from concept to launch across all product lines.
- Lead and mentor the team to push the boundaries of what could be. Instill a client and user-centric design and quality-centric way of working into everything the team does.
- Be the key evangelist of Ovio’s product vision both internally and externally to clients and other stakeholders.
- Attract and develop great product talent and be a role model of Ovio’s inclusive, authentic culture and values.
The Requirements
- Proven experience as a CPO, VP Product or PM in a similar technology environment.
- Experience in client-facing product management roles. Development experience is a plus.
- Expertise in agile and other development methodologies.
- A strategic mindset and ability to develop, inspire, and implement a change management agenda.
- Experience in the full lifecycle of building, launching, and improving software products and related services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You get energized from speaking to a variety of audiences including clients, partners and investors.
- Effectively recruited, mentored, and retained great people.
- The ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Data-Driven project management experience.
- Ability to travel to San Francisco and conduct face-to-face meetings.
Remote
Ovio is based in San Francisco, but many team members are remote. Candidates able to work in a US or European time zone are preferred but all remote candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
