What you'll do 👨💻
Doctolib is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Patient Health Platform domain and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients.
More specifically, you’ll join a team working on developing patient services to help patients and practitioners leverage technologies to improve the quality of communications and continuity of care, working on features like teleconsultation, messaging, and notifications to patients. Providing the best in class user experience, quality, and security of the features.
Your role as Engineering Manager:
- Be a technical leader and people manager, coaching and training your team members while building an amazing engineering organization at Doctolib.
- Directly in charge of a team of full-stack developers.
- Manage and grow the performance and career of your team.
- Ensure business objectives are met as a team, by driving performance of each team member.
- Empower your team to build better products.
- Set the roadmap for your team, and be the end-to-end owner of the team’s production, quality, and delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required.
- Lead cross functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team.
- Partner with Talent & People teams to recruit, develop and retain talent.
Who you are 🤓
- 4+ years of people management experience with an engineering team.
- Eager to be hands on with our stack: React, React Native, Ruby on Rails and Java.
- Understand the value of testing your code.
- Ability to adapt to the most efficient technologies to solve issues.
- Proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products.
- Comfortable speaking English in your day by day with the team.
