About the Job

• The Billing and Payments team is responsible for gathering and processing all consumption of Scaleway products by clients.
• Develop and maintain data flux for up-to-date invoices during the month and issue invoices during monthly billing.
• Ensure smooth payment processes and the best possible user experience around billing and payment in the console.
• Play a key role in Scaleway's growth and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Good communication skills and proactivity.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Experience as a Software Developer and with API development.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of some DevOps tools: Ansible, Gitlab CI, Sentry, Prometheus, etc.
• Deliver battle-tested features.
• Good command of English and French.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to remain cool-headed under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to respect coding standards and best practices: provide and receive constructive code reviews.
• Passionate about complex and smooth data flowing architectures (streaming, event bus, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Deliver features during agile sprints, from grooming tickets to production release.
• Support product teams for smooth understanding and usage of Billing.
• Contribute to best practices, architectural, and service design collective choices.
• Identify pain points and potential enhancements in the stack.
• Be responsible for infrastructure and software stack.
• Pay extra care to the quality of the code: billing and payment must be extra safe!

Location

• Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France).
