Our mission is to revolutionize automotive safety by developing cutting-edge AD/ADAS features, including advanced emergency brake systems and emergency driving stop mechanisms for mass-produced vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES 🛠️
- Design and develop AD/ADAS safety feature software in a team based on high-level requirements at the concept, vehicle, or system level. Conduct thorough reviews and testing to ensure compliance with standards and rules, securing high product quality for the implementation and release of AD/ADAS software
- Utilize the development environment provided by the development environment team, and develop individual tools as necessary to drive efficient development
- Engage in development collaboration, including requirement acquisition, software information presentation, and development support for customers
- Assess and validate performance through PC simulations and analysis of actual evaluation data
- Collaborate efficiently with other teams, internal team members, and subcontractors to progress development
- Actively work on enhancing product technology and improving development processes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 🎓
- Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or engineering: software, electrical, mechatronic, robotics, industrial, aerospace, or equivalent engineering field, etc.
- Basic programming skill (e.g. C/C++/Python/Shell Scripting)
- Native to near-native level proficiency in both written and spoken Japanese (JLPT N1 equivalent or higher)
NICE TO HAVES ✨
- Work experience in ADAS driving planning technology or vehicle dynamics control technology (e.g. ACC, AEBS etc.)
- Experience with agile software management tools
- Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: C, C++, Python, OpenCV, JavaScript, MATLAB Simulink, etc.
- Experience in coding based on the following conventions: CERT-C, MISRA-C
- Knowledge of FTA/FMEA, Functional Safety (ISO26262)
