42dot's Ambient AI team improves the user experience in Software-defined Vehicles (SDV) through situational awareness, hyper-personalization, proactive response, and easy connectivity, thereby realizing Calm Technology. To this end, we research and develop technologies such as Action Planning, Recommendation & Suggestion, and User Modeling using Generative AI (Large Language Model) and Personal Context. Our technology will be a key element in making all future mobility devices more convenient and effective for people.

Responsibilities 💼

• Realization of Ambient AI / Calm AI in Mobility Devices
• Securing Service Orchestration and Reasoning technology using Generative AI / Ultra-large Language Model
• Securing Action Planning technology considering multi-modality (including On-screen Awareness technology)
• Composing Action Sequence that satisfies the user for user requests or vehicle events
• Supporting Proactive Suggestion by predicting user's next action
• Developing Recommendation System for vehicle functions and main contents
• Developing Routine Analyzer for user behavior pattern analysis
• Personalization of AI Assistant based on User Modeling
• Efficient collection and management of data related to Mobility Device and User
• Personal Database Semantic Indexing & Search
• Module optimization in Server and Embedded (On-Device) environments

Qualifications 📚

• 6-8+ years of relevant experience (PhD candidates are welcome)
• Experience in developing applications using Generative AI / Ultra-large Language Model
• Experience in utilizing multi-modal related models or screen context
• Experience in research/development in data analysis/recommendation/personalization
• Broad understanding of the latest machine learning/artificial intelligence technologies and algorithm implementation/evaluation capabilities
• Experience in developing Server and On-Device frameworks
• Development capabilities in major programming languages such as Python / Kotlin / Java / C

Preferred Qualifications ✨

• Experience in developing services using Generative AI / Ultra-large Language Model
• Experience in developing commercial services related to Ambient AI / Calm AI
• Experience in developing commercial services related to AI Assistant or Recommendation
• Experience in collecting and analyzing vehicle-related data
• Service application experience of ultra-large language models / Prompt engineering skills
• Authors of top-tier journals/conference papers in machine learning/artificial intelligence/data analysis/recommendation

Interview Process 📝

• Document screening - Coding test - Video interview (within 1 hour) - Face-to-face or video interview (within 3 hours) - Final pass
