Who Are We Looking For? 🔎
We are looking for engineers with a passion for developing and operating the city-scale CO2-free electric power aggregation system used in daily life in Woven City.
With hands-on experiences and deep knowledge about software development, you are expected to:
- Define requirements
- Design and develop the algorithm for the energy aggregation system
- Support daily life in Woven City and business feasibility studies
You are also expected to work closely with specialists from various disciplines.
You will report to the development manager as a development team leader, and the work style is hybrid (office and remote).
Responsibilities: 🛠️
- Create DevOps roadmap and documentation plan for prediction functions, optimization functions, or hardware control functions
- Lead the DevOps process of the prediction functions, optimization functions, or hardware control functions of the energy aggregation system
- Make technical decisions in building multivariate models integrated with mathematical, statistical, physical, machine learning, AI models, or control transfer function
- Define appropriate algorithms and methodologies for maintainable and scalable coding
- Build methodologies for collaboration with cross-functional teams, various service project owners, and third parties
Minimum Qualifications: 🎓
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in building multivariate models and data pipelines for prediction, optimization, or hardware control by Python
- Capability of algorithm design, implementation, evaluation, tuning, and reporting
- Experience and skills in writing publications about electrical or thermal energy systems
- Proficiency in business-level English skill and a passion to develop Japanese conversation skill
Nice to Haves: ✨
- Master's degree in data science, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in processes from software requirement definition to operations
- Experience in the software product development for the energy management system, electric power system, HVAC system, or prediction systems (weather, traffic, logistics, stock trading, etc.)
- Experience and skills in API design
- Experience and knowledge in the quality control process such as ISO 9000 family
- Proficiency in business-level Japanese
