42dot develops UMOS (Urban Mobility Operating System), a mobility integrated platform that covers the entire process of urban mobility services from A to Z. Security Engineer (Security Threat Analysis and Assessment) performs security analysis and risk assessment at the hardware/software/network level of vehicles and control units, and performs security inspections (such as penetration tests).
Responsibilities
- Mock hacking and vulnerability checks for 42dot services
- Mock hacking and vulnerability checks at the vehicle and controller level
- Analysis of security vulnerabilities in source code and provision of improvement guides
Qualifications
- Experience in diagnosing security vulnerabilities and performing mock hacking of web/mobile/embedded applications
- Ability to suggest specific countermeasures and improvement guides for analyzed vulnerabilities
- Experience in identifying and suggesting improvements for source code security vulnerabilities using static source code analysis tools
- Proficiency in at least one programming language among Rust, Python, C, C++, Go, and Java
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in winning domestic and international hacking competitions or participating in major bug bounty programs and receiving rewards
- Experience in vehicle hacking
- Experience in automating mock hacking and vulnerability diagnosis related tasks
