Woven City is not a smart city, it's the City as a Test-Course for newer mobility and technology. It's not a complete product, but an ever-evolving living laboratory where inventors from all over the world test new technologies. Woven City’s experience aims to be beyond just a city living experience, where people support each other to realize "Well-being for all" and feel the warmth of humanity. People living there will be co-inventors for all technologies and services developed at the site to support this goal.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek a UI/UX designer for digital touch points, web, and mobile applications. You'll focus on enhancing user experience through problem-solving and close collaboration with Front-end Engineering teams and UX members. You'll guide product improvements based on measurements, provide UI/UX design development, and enhance the product's design. We offer learning opportunities and a chance to grow your UI/UX design skills in production development.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCD, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in user interface design for web and mobile applications.
- High proficiency in interaction and visual design, with strong ability in design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Experience designing user experiences for web and mobile applications, with a demonstrated understanding of trends, patterns, usability, technical considerations, and best practices in these platforms.
- Strong commitment to problem-solving and improving products based on KPIs.
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency and conversational-level English language proficiency (verbal and written) to explain design intentions.
- An online portfolio showcasing examples of UI/UX and Visual Design work.
Nice to Haves:
- Basic technical understanding, including familiarity with APIs and other technical aspects of web and mobile app development. (No coding skills required.)
- Collaboration experience with Product Managers, UX teams, and engineering teams.
- Experience conducting Design Sprints.
- Experience designing tools for engineers.
- Familiarity with React, Flutter, MUI framework, WCAG, Supernova documentation.
