We seek a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer with a focus on e-commerce, particularly online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of user behavior, and a proven track record of designing engaging and user-friendly interfaces. Experience in luxury or the arts will be considered a strong asset. Reports to the Chief Marketing & Product Officer. Preferred location is based in Paris on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office), but not mandatory.

Responsibilities: 🛠️
- Create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our e-commerce platform, with a primary focus on online marketplace functionality.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and iterate on user interface solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure alignment between design and business objectives.
- In tandem with the Product Managers and Lead User Researcher, analyze user feedback, conduct usability testing, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize the user experience and improve drive conversion rates.
- Maintain consistency in design elements across all platforms and ensure adherence to brand guidelines while also infusing creativity and innovation into the design process.
- Consult on the continuous development of brand guidelines and how these are translated into UX/UI design processes/systems.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and delivers a seamless user experience across devices and browsers.
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design, ensuring that all users, regardless of ability, can navigate and interact with our platform effectively.
Skills and Qualifications: 🎓
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your work in e-commerce and online marketplace design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Miro or similar software.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design patterns.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
- Experience with usability testing methodologies, A/B testing, and analytics tools would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for luxury brands, the arts, and an understanding of their unique design aesthetics and user expectations.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be a plus.
