🚀 GNC Engineer - Rendezvous Team

We're seeking a skilled and motivated GNC Engineer to join our Rendezvous team in Toulouse. This role is key to developing and enhancing our Rendezvous solution, contributing directly to the mission's success through systems engineering and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Description

• Develop state-of-the-art GNC algorithms.
• Integrate algorithms into the overall architecture and align with system parameters (sensors, actuators, and computers).
• Perform sensitivity analysis to define GNC algorithms' performance.
• Actively participate in defining Rendezvous ConOps (Concept of Operations) and Safety Concepts, including Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) strategies.
• Support the development and execution of GNC Validation & Verification processes to ensure the Rendezvous solution's reliability and efficacy.
• Aid in Rendezvous and Docking Operations throughout the mission's lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in GNC/AOCS systems for satellites.
• Heritage in at least one successful satellite mission as part of a GNC, AOCS, or Flight Dynamics team.
• Excellent programming skills, with experience in MATLAB/Simulink and autocoding practices. Implemented and verified software on flight computer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external partners.
• Proficiency in English.
