The Role: QA Engineer

As part of the "Customer Acquisition and Telephony" team, you will be joining a scrum team currently composed of 6 developers and 2 Product Managers. Your main missions will be the design and execution of API and Front-End test cases for papernest's products related to SEA&SEO referencing and telephony.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the test campaign in collaboration with the Agile project team, anticipating testability issues, datasets, and having a comprehensive understanding of the specifications.
  • Write test cases in line with the acceptance criteria discussed beforehand, then execute these test cases to find and report bugs.
  • Manage the writing and execution of these test cases using the X-Ray tool.
  • Write bugs using the JIRA tool following the QA team's standards.
  • Lead the review of bugs and ensure control and knowledge of the bug backlog on the scope.
  • Provide a clear and continuous vision of the quality of the release that will be delivered on the scope.
  • Be integrated into the scrum team and aim for the success of the sprints.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience, including 2 years in API Testing within an Agile team, with a strong technical appetite.
  • Good knowledge of JIRA & XRAY tools.
  • Willingness to take initiatives, but also with strong rigor and good autonomy.
  • Team player, with good communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of an API testing tool (Cypress, Postman, SoapAPI, or ReadyAPI, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of test automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.) is a big plus.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.

  • An interview with Bertrand, QA Manager.
  • A technical test, followed by a presentation with Bertrand.
  • A final interview with Raphaël, Head of Engineering, and Cyril, CTO.
