At Woven, constant improvement is our mission, and we need a Process Improvements Lead to drive it. As part of the IT Operations leadership team, you'll work with local and global teams to identify and implement process improvements and standardization across all Operations support teams. Your contributions will optimize costs and drive efficiencies for the entire organization.
Who Are We Looking For? 🔍
You're a metrics-driven IT professional with 5+ years of experience in IT Support, IT project management, process improvement, data analysis, or IT systems administration. Your broad experience in IT Operations equips you to identify improvement areas and create automation and workflow efficiencies. You have proven experience driving meaningful operational change and transforming data into actionable insights.
If you enjoy finding and solving technical and workflow challenges, you'll thrive in this innovative team reporting to the IT Operations Manager in Japan.
Responsibilities 🛠️
Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze data for inefficiencies, document business requirements, and process flows
- Prepare and present detailed reporting that justifies your recommendations, working with various teams
Collaboration and Communication
- Act as a liaison between IT Operations and partners to ensure all are engaged with process changes
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to encourage innovative ideas
Implementation and Monitoring
- Actively assist PMs and IT Operation teams with implementing IT Operations-related projects
- Script or build automations that can improve technical workflows
- Create reporting on status updates and act as the unblocking agent
- Monitor and report on effectiveness improvements
Training and Support
- Provide training and support to team members on new processes and tools
- Develop and maintain procedure documentation in English and Japanese
Constant Improvement
- Maintain awareness of industry trends for process improvement and bring suggestions to IT Operations and other team areas
- Constantly compare our performance with industry standards and report on gaps
Report to the IT Operations Manager and come to our office at least 3 days a week per our onsite hybrid work policy.
Minimum Qualifications 🎓
- 5 years in IT Operations Support or IT leadership or PM type of role in an enterprise environment, with at least 3 years in process improvement
- Analytic Skills and experience with data analysis tools like (PowerBi, Tableau, Google Analytics, Qlik) and experience creating and presenting influential presentations
- Experience working with IT Administrative tools (Azure AD, Entra, In-Tune, Jamf, etc.)
- Bi-lingual fluency in English/Japanese (business-level Japanese)
Nice to Haves 🌟
- Programming or scripting skills for data analysis or ServiceNow, Google, or OS-related automation
- Certification with Project Management and Process Improvement methodologies (Lean Principles, Six Sigma, PMP)
- Experience working in any of these areas: Desktop Hardware Support, Win/OSx/Linux Support, IT Account administration, Application license management, IT Onboarding processes, IT Support
