About the Role 💼
As an Enterprise Account Manager at Scality, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within your assigned territory. 🎯 You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise accounts across various target industries, including:
- Service Providers (TSP and content developers)
- Content Distribution
- Cloud firms
- Media and Entertainment
- Financial Services
- Manufacturing
- Retail
- Health Care
- Enterprise Cloud
- Video Surveillance

Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Hunter Mentality: Aggressively pursue and close new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate and grow target accounts.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Solution Selling: Effectively articulate the value proposition of Scality's software-defined storage solutions to address customer challenges and achieve business objectives.
- Alliance and Channel Partnerships: Collaborate effectively with our impressive list of alliance and channel partners, with strong involvement at clients' sites, to identify and pursue joint sales opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the software-defined storage market.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales activity and provide regular updates on progress towards sales targets.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance your sales skills and knowledge of Scality's products, services, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications 🏆
- Proven Sales Success: 5+ years of successful experience in enterprise infrastructure sales, preferably in (quasi) start-up technologies where establishing name recognition is key, with a strong track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Storage Expertise: 5+ years of experience selling enterprise storage solutions, preferably with a focus on large-scale deployments and a deep understanding of customer workflows and applications.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within key target industries.
- Channel Experience: Proven experience working effectively with channel partners to drive sales growth.
- Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated success in leveraging a network of connections, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within target accounts.
- Customer success mindset: Have a passion for supporting customers to provide the best solution, optimizing technical resources for the customer along with addressing financial goals
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Effectively leverage internal resources (pre-sales, post-sales, product, engineering, marketing, C-level) through strong influence and leadership to achieve sales objectives.
- Strategic Focus: Demonstrate the ability to balance immediate revenue goals (e.g., meeting quarterly quotas) with the development of long-term client relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Competitive Spirit: A strong work ethic, competitive drive, and a passion for exceeding expectations.
