🚀 Flight Dynamics Intern

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to mission design analysis, including testing edge cases, identifying failure modes, and verifying robustness (Monte Carlo simulations).
- Topics include maneuver planning, orbit determination, momentum management strategies, power analysis and tradeoffs, and building accurate pointing budgets considering flexible dynamics in the spacecraft.
- Develop simulation software to support Infinite Orbits' AOCS/GNC software for future rendezvous and servicing missions (primarily written in Matlab and Simulink).
- Design, implement, and test Infinite Orbits' AOCS/GNC software at SIL (Software in the loop) and HIL (Hardware in the loop) levels.
- Assist in embedding flight software on a flight computer.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a master's program in Aerospace / Control Systems / Physics.
- Project/Internship experience in orbital mechanics, satellite AOCS, and flexible dynamics.
- Ability to code in MATLAB and SIMULINK and use git.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
- English is the only working language at Infinite Orbits.
- Knowing French is a plus.
- Students doing Masters currently based in France or EU citizens residing anywhere and available for a minimum of 5 to 6 months internship.
- PhD students residing anywhere and available for a minimum of 3 months.
