💼 Junior System Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve the infrastructure, middlewares, applications, and the entire network of the group.
- Work within a small, international team specializing in infrastructure.
- Ensure the operational maintenance and evolution of the on-premise and cloud low-layer infrastructure.
- Deploy, administer, operate, maintain, and evolve virtualization infrastructures (Vmware) and the public cloud (Azure).
- Administer, operate, maintain, and evolve storage systems (full flash, SAN, NAS), and compute nodes (UCS, Lenovo, Dell).
- Manage schedules and analyze performance.
- Administer third-party tools (VrOps, vSan, NSX, SRM), and implement changes to virtualization systems and infrastructures.
- Define architectures to be implemented within the framework of new projects.
- Ensure relationships with clients via delivery managers, as well as the technical validation of projects.
- Conduct technological monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (3 years of study) in a relevant field.
- Experience in a similar position as a System Administrator.
- Adhere to Infrastructure as Code.
- Ability to make suggestions and integrate into an innovative and diverse environment.
- Familiar with private/hybrid/public cloud dimensions.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and flexibility to navigate a multitude of professions and technologies.
- Ability to take a step back and have a macro view of a heterogeneous, high-availability infrastructure.
- Comfortable in a stretch environment and master the concepts of SLA, DRP, RTO, RPO.
