Creating a new AlarmManager with the constructor parameter set to null, will systematically reset the user's alarm clock alarms.

If the type of the Alarm is RTC_WAKEUP or ELASPSED_REALTIME_WAKEUP, it will have an impact on the battery.

If the type of the Alarm is RTC, you must specify a PackageContext in the PendingIntent to prevent other applications from also receiving the alarm signal.

Before scheduling a new Alarm, you should always make sure to reset the Android Wall Clock Time with the AlarmManager.setTime (long millis) method.
