You'll tackle complex challenges and maintain our infrastructure, which handles over 60PB of monthly data traffic. Our systems are impressive:

• 6PB+ Ceph storage
• 60PB+ monthly data traffic
• 300k+ service requests/sec processed
• 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

We're seeking a PHP Tech Lead to join our Payments & Risk team. You'll drive technical initiatives, from integrating third-party systems, KYC tools, and fraud management to shaping the team's technical direction. Your responsibilities will include guiding engineers, ensuring feature quality, maintaining and improving legacy code, and making key technical decisions to keep projects on track. This is an opportunity to take ownership, grow a talented team, and make a significant impact in a high-growth tech environment.

📅 Your Day-to-Day 📅

• Take full ownership of the technical decisions and architecture of the product.
• Coordinate daily with the Engineering Manager to plan and execute new initiatives, and align on technical debt prioritization.
• Design and build scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Write clean, reusable code and improve best practices.
• Ensure that the team adheres to best coding practices.
• Actively participate in code reviews, define code quality standards, and foster a strong engineering culture.
• Share knowledge, guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical support.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to deliver quality solutions and resolve issues.
• Support hiring and contribute to team growth.
• Bring fresh ideas and drive innovation.

💡 Your Skills & Experience 💡

• Profound knowledge in PHP and the Symfony framework.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Strong backend development skills.
• Experience working within Agile development processes.
• Competence in API design and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party vendors.

✨ Nice to Have ✨

• Familiarity with other modern frameworks.
• Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes.
