About the role 💼
The Database team is looking for its next DevOps Engineer!
As a DevOps Engineer at Scaleway, you will create, deploy, and maintain software components that orchestrate customers' databases on our infrastructure, all while maintaining business-critical databases.
Responsibilities ⚙️
- Design, develop, and maintain Scaleway's Database-as-a-Service services
- Maintain and improve internal database infrastructure for Scaleway teams
- Contribute to Scaleway's engineering culture by sharing information and best practices
Qualifications 📚
- Experience in Go or Python
- Experience in systems programming with scripting languages (bash, Python)
- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with IT automation tools
- Good understanding of Linux systems administration
- Understanding of Kubernetes
- Fluent written English
- Team player, ability to share knowledge, and get involved in regular team rituals
Nice to have ✨
- Experience in database administration (troubleshooting, high availability mechanisms, clustering, etc.)
- Experience with Kubernetes at scale
- Experience with gRPC APIs
- Knowledge of systems monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
