About the job

We're looking for talented frontend developers to create user interfaces for our developer-focused products. You'll be shaping our cloud management console and building a complete cloud ecosystem that's both pragmatic and straightforward.

How we work:

• Our managers are coders too! We're tech people building tech services for tech customers.
• You'll be the first to use Scaleway APIs, working closely with every product team in the company.
• No need to write backend code - we have dedicated teams for that!

Console Team:

• As our team grows, we've changed how we work. We've created IaaS, PaaS & Core tribes and squads for more responsible teams, fully integrated with all Scaleway teams.
• We also have an internal team working on Design System and Kernel (internal tools to improve our Developer Experience).
• You'll be part of one of these tribes and can contribute to the Design System or Kernel team.

Minimum Qualifications

• You've chosen between frontend and backend development.
• You solve problems with code rather than dependencies.
• You love JavaScript ES2018 (or at least ES2015).
• You've used CSS-in-JS.
• You have experience with REST APIs.
• You've written unit and functional tests.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• You don't fall for hype.
• You truly "Think in React©".
• You're an HTML & CSS aficionado.
• You know how to practice UI navigation with and without pointers.
• You love peer reviews!

Responsibilities

• Create a whole design system and its components (check out the repository).
• Build awesome interfaces for developers using our beautiful Design Systems.
• Use our new fully typed & open-sourced SDK to create products.
• Work closely with Design and Product to release the best new products on the market.
• Add new features to existing products like Load Balancer.

Based in our offices in Paris or Lille, France.
