🌟 Responsibilities 🌟
- Ensure the application is consistently operational in Production.
- Manage non-production environments, including pre-production and staging.
- Possess a deep understanding of application features and all supported blockchains.
- Collaborate closely with application and infrastructure engineers to ensure a seamless transition of changes to production environments.
- Apply fixes, enhancements, and optimizations to applications and infrastructure.
- Identify potential issues arising from deployments that could impact production uptime, scalability, or response times.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and triage application alerts and issues.
- Manage incidents and problems, conducting post-resolution follow-ups to ensure thorough problem resolution.
- Continuously enhance monitoring tools and processes.
- Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and audits.
- Maintain and support blockchain infrastructure (DevOps knowledge is a plus).
- For senior roles, communicate application issues to stakeholders.
💡 Requirements 💡
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, Javascript, Node.js, or Golang.
- Previous experience in application support.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an analytical approach.
- Comfortable analyzing logs and a sharp eye for anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Strong curiosity and a drive to identify problems and root causes, effectively communicating findings to the team.
- Experience deploying in various cloud environments (Azure, Google, Amazon).
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
- Experience deploying and maintaining container infrastructures (e.g., Kubernetes, docker-compose).
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining logging tools (e.g., Fluentd, ElasticSearch, Kibana).
