🌟 Testing QA Engineer 🌟
The Testing QA Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design and execution of test plans and ensuring software products meet quality standards. This role involves intermediate-level testing tasks and collaboration with team members.
The split between manual vs automated testing in QA is 50:50.
📋 Tasks and Responsibilities (not limiting to):
- Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, and system-level testing with minimal supervision.
- Assist in test planning, including analyzing requirements and creating test scenarios.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Coordinate with developers to communicate defects and support debugging efforts.
- Perform basic configuration and maintenance of test environments.
- Maintain QA procedures on a per client/project basis.
- Maintain quality plan for existing and new client needs.
- Identify testing problems and generate solutions for projects or processes.
- Control and manage projects through systematic management skills and methods, assuring all testing projects go smoothly.
- Troubleshoot in testing development and execution.
- Basic knowledge of image and/or video editing would be an added advantage, particularly for handling ART image tasks.
📚 Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1-2 years Proficient in defect tracking tools, basic scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Proficient in using defect tracking tools and test management systems.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
📍 Location
This role is fully work-from-office at our Gurugram/Gurgaon office from Mon to Fri.
