Communications Server Administrator

Play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our communications systems. You'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and management of our Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server, ensuring that our organization's communication needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or malfunctions related to the communication server.
• Performing regular system updates and security patches to maintain the server's optimal performance.
• Monitoring and analyzing system logs and performance metrics to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, network engineers, and end-users, to ensure seamless communication and address their needs.
• Providing technical support and guidance to users on the proper usage and functionality of the communication server.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in communication technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration, preferably with a focus on telecommunications or VoIP systems.
• Strong understanding of IP telephony, networking protocols, and communication technologies.
• Familiarity with Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise Communication Server or similar platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
