Telematics System Software Engineer

42dot's Telematics System Software Engineer designs and develops system software that enables data communication by connecting to the external wireless network of a vehicle. This role requires an understanding of wireless communication technologies such as LTE, 5G, BT/Wifi, and the ability to develop system software in an embedded environment.

Responsibilities 🛠️

• Develop middleware for LTE, 5G modem data communication of Telematics
• Develop Ethernet HAL and middleware for Telematics and vehicle gateway connection and communication
• Design and develop OTA and diagnostic functions of Telematics
• Port middleware and develop applications for BT/WIFI

Qualifications 🎓

• Bachelor's degree or higher and more than 5 years of experience in system software development
• Experience in middleware/application development for Telematics or automotive NAD
• Experience in writing system software requirements analysis and architecture-related design documents
• Proficient in embedded programming languages such as C/C++, Rust

Preferred Qualifications ✨

• Understanding or development experience in C-V2X, WAVE communication
• Automotive Ethernet or CAN data communication development experience
• Understanding of vehicle specifications (function/system/diagnostic specifications) and mass production development experience

Interview Process 📝

• Document screening - Coding test - Video interview (about 1 hour) - Face-to-face or video interview (about 3 hours) - Final pass
