✨ Responsibilities ✨
- Lead, mentor, and coach our Engine team.
- Assist with the recruitment of Engine Programmers.
- Manage code reviews and document code features.
- Collaborate with other Larian Studios programming Leads.
- Assist in maintaining, porting, and extending our proprietary engine across multiple platforms.
- Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for low-level coding and an interest in performance analysis.
- Complete all tasks in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Develop well-designed software within project schedules and team standards.
- Show a strong passion for creating state-of-the-art games.
- Safeguard company assets, including source code, artwork, tools, and technical know-how.
🚀 Requirements 🚀
- Demonstrable Lead or Management experience.
- Extensive experience programming for games.
- Excellent C++ skills.
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Passion for making and playing great games.
- Experience with graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
- Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools.
- Multithreading should be second nature.
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.
