Production Admin 🖥️

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the TAM measurement production system end-to-end.
  • Learn the process flow of the production system.
  • Support the installation and configuration of production platforms.
  • Provide general maintenance to Windows/Linux servers involved in the production system.
  • Check the correct generation of audio signatures of TV signals in the systems.
  • Installation and/or relocation of TV antennas in remote sites through third parties.
  • Monitor the performance of servers and/or related services.
  • Control updates and security packages.
  • Control daily, weekly, and special production processes.
  • Verify daily production processes.
  • Perform verification of signature scanning processes for daily production.
  • Verify and confirm the correct assignment of audiences.
  • Guarantee the integrity of the information.
  • Guarantee the backup of information on assigned servers or devices.
  • Ensure the implementation of security controls for backed-up information.
  • Provide technical support to users who use production systems and consulting tools.
  • Perform the installation of Pollux, UBO, or Ariana/Mardata software to clients for internal or external users.
  • Provide advice and support regarding the production system.
  • Generate the registration, cancellation, and change of system users with access restrictions.
  • Support the different internal and external areas (Nielsen).
  • Investigate, notify, and resolve incidents related to production systems.
  • Manage severities in incidents presented during the process.
  • Investigate the causes that trigger alerts in the systems.
  • Timely inform the different areas when a failure occurs.
  • Control and prevent the failure event from recurring.
  • Document the failure and, if applicable, the resolution process.
  • Support research and documentation of PolluxCS parameterization at the level of categories, channels, universes, Rim Weighting, and MultiRim Weighting.
  • Investigate the causes of changes in the expected results of production.
  • Configure the relevant parameters in the system to produce the requested databases.
  • Monitor the Prepoll, Nightpoll, and Postpoll processes and respond in case of failure.
  • Know the Prepoll, Nightpoll, and Postpoll processes and provide support and notify in case of failure (Sev1).
  • Analyze, implement, and administer remote communication sites.
  • Receive equipment from suppliers according to company procedures.
  • Install and configure equipment in the laboratory for testing prior to implementation.
  • Investigate and, where appropriate, install and configure hardware/software for continuous improvement of the system.
  • Implement and track change controls.
  • Carry out signal study and analysis for new remote sites.
  • Control assets that make up the systems it manages.
  • Generate and update inventories of servers and communication devices.
  • Generate and update component inventories at remote sites.
  • Generate documentation on relevant topics related to the system in the cities it visits.
  • Use previously designated and approved formats for all types of documentation.
  • Ensure the quality of the databases to be released to clients through pre-delivery processes.
  • Analyze behaviors generated by audiences to justify out-of-range trends.
  • Validate each of the steps established in the checklist of each base released to clients.
  • Report the status and release checklist to the areas involved.
  • Monitor the performance of reference sites.
  • Master the process of generating audio signatures.
  • Perform continuous quality validations through the Reel Monitor.
  • Monitor the performance of network equipment at reference sites.

Personal Skills

  • Preferably a Systems, Communications, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineer, or similar.
  • Intermediate or advanced English.
  • Preferably 3 years or more in support, administration, and/or architecture of multiplatform environments or experience in structured voice, data, audio, and video cabling installations.
