IVI OS Engineer (Multimedia)

42dot's IVI OS Engineer optimizes the IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment), a core system of SDV (Software Defined Vehicle), based on Android Automotive and develops key middleware and applications that enhance the business competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Optimization and customization of media framework based on Android automotive

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably in engineering)
• 5+ years of experience in Android/Linux-based embedded system development
• Experience in Linux-based media framework development or optimization
• Proficiency in C++, JAVA/Kotlin, and other primary languages for Android/Linux-based embedded systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or understanding of Android media framework
• Understanding of multimedia frameworks for Linux-based embedded systems (Tizen, AGL, GENIVI, CCOS, WebOS)
• Understanding of Linux multimedia architecture such as Pulseaudio, ALSA, OpenMax
• General understanding of the Android platform

Interview Process:

• Document screening - Coding test - Video interview (about 1 hour) - Face-to-face or video interview (about 3 hours) - Final selection
