Hardware System Team ⚙️

The Hardware System Team is one of the most crucial teams responsible for developing our core product - the Mujin Controller. In this role, you will be responsible for Embedded Software Development for the next-generation Mujin controller and the wireless version of the Mujin pendant. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, including the development and support of software (SW) for multiple hardware platforms.

Responsibilities 🛠️

• Develop and support embedded software for Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), system software, including drivers and kernels for Linux.
• Create software tools to facilitate system implementation and upgrades.
• Support current embedded software.
• Investigate industrial protocols necessary for connecting to various IoT devices such as industrial robots, sensors, and cameras.
• Follow product development procedures, guidelines, and work instructions to ensure high-quality product development.
• Effectively work with other team members by providing feedback on hardware/software domain requirements and/or development processes to enhance teamwork.
• Perform other tasks related to product development.

Required Skills & Experience 🎓

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience or relevant academic research and development experience in C/C++.
• 5+ years of work experience in microcontroller (MCU) architecture or relevant academic research experience.
• Experience in developing RTOS or Linux drivers.
• Familiarity with Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in business-level English.

Preferred Skills & Experience 🌟

• Experience designing industrial devices, especially industrial PCs.
• Expert in real-time OS, Linux kernel module development.
• Good understanding of functional safety concepts based on IEC 61508 or similar standards.
• Experience with software verification tools.

Work Hours ⏰

8:45 - 17:45 (with a 60-minute break)
