If you are an experienced Cloud Engineer looking to step into a leadership role, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Beyond leading technical solutions, managing projects, and performing in-depth troubleshooting, you will guide the Cloud Engineering team and help drive the company’s cloud strategy forward. You will be responsible for implementing best practices, ensuring adherence to cloud pillars and assessments, and fostering the growth of team members’ technical knowledge and expertise. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with the long-term development of processes, standards, and team capabilities to achieve organizational cloud objectives.
✅ The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Lead, manage, and track the team’s deliverables through regular cadence, progress reports, and performance reviews
- Orchestrate and monitor cloud projects and solutions, ensuring alignment with the AWS/Azure Well-Architected Framework and best practices
- Consult on re-platforming and refactoring initiatives to modernize current cloud infrastructure according to company standards
- Assist team members in developing their technical skills and knowledge to ensure continuous professional growth
- Provide and participate in training sessions covering both new and existing technologies and services
- Drive and oversee requests for new technologies, services, and solutions from internal customers, ensuring timely evaluation and implementation
- Ensure adherence to company deployment standards, security guidelines, and operational excellence pillars across all cloud environments
⭐ Main requirements: ⭐
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud services, with at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in AWS Cloud environments
- Experience in leading/mentoring technical teams, fostering collaboration, performance, and professional growth
- Demonstrated success in solution design and deployment projects, with a strong understanding of architectural best practices
- Deep familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and its application across all technical solutions
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to methodically identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Advanced expertise in AWS technologies, services, and ecosystem components
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, preferably HCL Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, with a solid understanding of collaborative development workflows
- Strong cost optimization and research skills, with practical understanding of FinOps and PerfOps methodologies
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent time management abilities and capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively

- Experience in Windows and Linux OS
- Experience in RDBMSs, preferably Postgres and MySQL
- Advanced networking and scripting skills
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Go
