Overview

As a Business Analyst in the Data Operation and Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our data's accuracy, integrity, and availability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and maintain data, empowering informed decision-making and driving business growth. You'll also contribute to designing and developing our data warehouse, offered to business users as a product using our big-data infrastructure. With business users relying on our data for decision-making and operations, you'll gain hands-on experience implementing algorithms to ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• 📊 Data Collection and Validation: Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data from multiple sources. Ensure data accuracy and completeness by implementing validation checks and data quality standards.
• 🧹 Data Maintenance and Cleanup: Regularly update and maintain databases to reflect the most current information. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and errors.
• 🧩 Data Integration: Work on data integration projects, including data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes. Collaborate with Tech teams to implement data integration solutions.
• 🛡️ Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, processes, and data lineage.

Requirements

• 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• 🤝 Experience in working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize work.
• 💾 2+ years of experience with SQL.
• 🛠️ 2+ years of experience in one of the following or related roles: Technical Project Management/ Data Analytics.
• 🧰 Experience in ETL and data warehousing.
• 🔍 Detail-oriented with a strong business sense.
• 🏦 Experience in FinTech startups or financial institutions is a plus.
• 📊 Experience in data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, is a plus.
