About the job 💼

Pre-sales solutions Architects are the primary technical contact for our clients and prospects during the first phases of their project. PSAs engage deeply with technical contacts and C-level to build Scaleway Architectures and resolve migration challenges.

We need individuals who can develop positive relationships with our customers, learn their requirements, and work to bring cloud solutions that enable their success. Reporting to the Head of Solutions Architect, your primary responsibilities will be to increase customer acquisition. You will find answers and solutions to our clients along the Sales discovery process.

Minimum qualifications 🎓

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer or equivalent working with customers in a B2B company.
  • Experience in Cloud development, migrations, container orchestration, or applications/servers.
  • Knowledge in one of the following: Infrastructure as Code, Linux system administrators, application development, Datacenter components.
  • Very good command of French and English

Preferred qualifications 🌟

  • Experience in data migration and large database management
  • Experience in private cloud architecture
  • Experience in Negotiating complex deals

Responsibilities 🛠️

  • Serve as the technical liaison, collaborate with sales, marketing, and services teams to create customized presentations, demos, and proof of concepts
  • Handle and resolve technical questions and challenges encountered by clients during the first phases of their projects
  • Drive proof of concept projects to success by creating a convincing story that shows our solution as a must-have that delivers quantifiable and tangible business value to our customers
  • Take learning from the field and feed them back to improve our products, solutions, and sales process
  • Elevate the story so that your sales team and you can pitch effectively to C-level executives and technical teams
  • Seek to understand the Cloud markets; Deep dive technically in Scaleway and learn from competitors; Share your knowledge with other Solution Architects and your Sales team
