Artefact is a Data Consulting and Digital Marketing Agency. Part of the activity is to develop softwares for internal or external clients. Each development takes from 5 to 10 months and is achieved by teams of 2 to 6 developers / data scientists plus one product owner.

During my first year at Artefact, as a software developer, my technical tasks included:

• Data engineering : I built ETL to store data on daily basis in different data base
• Devop : I used AWS and GCP to enable client access and to improve development productivity
• Web development : in addition to the backend development I also built products that were accessible via a web app
• Algorithmic : I worked side by side with data scientists and domain experts to implement sofisticated and tailored algorithms

In the past 2 and a half year, as a senior developer, I took the lead role within the teams. I managed junior developers and was in charge of the architectural decisions.

I have worked on 8 project, such as :

• Online recommendation engine for a major pharmaceutical industry
• End user chat box on Google Home for a major online retailer
• Dashboard used by several clients gathering datas from major marketing players (google, facebook, client database, ...)
• Digital campaign optimizer used by Artefact experts
