42dot's Vehicle Application Software Engineer is responsible for software architecture design and software development of integrated communication systems that connect vehicles and wireless communications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop requirements and functions for Connected Car Service (CCS) systems for OTA, diagnostics, and vehicle data collection of 42dot controllers and legacy ECUs
- Develop software middleware, application applications for CCS, MCU-based device drivers, and HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)
- Develop OTA and diagnostic linkage functions between heterogeneous networks
- Develop protocols and software for in-vehicle data collection and server upload
Qualifications:
- Experience in embedded software development projects
- Experience in developing vehicle diagnostic communication systems using UDS protocol
- Experience in OTA, diagnostic protocols, and project execution
- Deep understanding of RTOS or Linux systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing software for HKMC communication integrated controllers (CCU: Central Communication Unit)
- Development of HKMC CCU standard specifications (function/system/diagnostic specifications) and CCU model deployment
- Experience in developing diagnostic stacks in AUTOSAR or Linux systems
Interview Process:
