Firmware Lead dev

Main responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2 engineers to develop top quality real-time firmware in C and C++
• Create quality processes that result in reliable, performant, well documented and evolutive
• code
• Build and enforce unit tests, functional tests and continuous integration
• Hands-on with hardware bring up, system debugging and code optimization

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in firmware development
• Experienced with the entire product cycle for an embedded system, from prototype to mass
• production; delivered at least one product to market
• Capable of delivering top quality C code in a real time embedded environment; also, significant
• multithreaded and RTOS experience
• Develop time critical code using ADC, PWM for power controls and battery management
• Expert software fundamentals including architectural design, algorithm development, data
• structures, code modularity, and maintainability
• Desired to have test driven development experience using unit testing, software in the loop, and
• hardware in the loop methodologies; a validation mindset is required
• Remain engaged, proactive and positive while solving very challenging problems
• Own assignments and take full accountability for overall team success
• Experience with CAN bus / CANOpen is a big plus
• Fluent English is a big plus
