Lead Backend Engineer

**Context **

Today the Backend development tasks are handled by the CTO who is looking for someone to rely on for this part. You will be in charge of implementing the backend side of all the cool new features of the Yubo app while making sure that the codebase remains scalable. As the lead backend engineer, you will have the opportunity to set up your own dev tools and establish development standards for the future. The main API is in NodeJS.

Mission

Your mission, if you accept it, will be to :

• Build a scalable and stable app for millions of users
• Implement new features
• Deal with legacy
• Use real-time technologies such as WebRTC, WebSockets, etc.

• NodeJS v12

Infrastructure:

• Docker containers orchestrated with Kubernetes on Google Cloud.
• Elastic Search, MongoDB, BigTable, BigQuery
• Monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana
• Continuous delivery with Google Cloud Build
• 2m+ commands per second on Redis

Technical Prerequisites

• Deep knowledge in NodeJS development practices
• Experience in deploying large-scale backend applications
• Good Practice / Code Quality / Code Review
• Performance-driven mindset
