Engineering Manager 100% Remote

You will be joining the team who’s in charge of building the Tenable Exposure Platform. The platform that enables companies to measure their cyber exposure and response to the modern threats. As the Exposure Hub Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of engineers working to design, implement and deliver a data oriented platform offering decision makers the ability to measure their cyber risk across the entire stack (IT, OT, cloud and application). The team is organized as a SCRUM team made of senior frontend and backend engineers, working in a startup-like culture and integrated in a Product organization made of 50+ top talented engineers.

Your Opportunity:

• Build, empower and maintain high performing teams combined of on-site and remote engineers, ensuring a great working environment for both cohorts.
• Collaborate with VP, PM, Architecture and Engineering leadership to define the strategy for the Exposure Hub team and align the team with the business goals.
• Ensure reliable execution and delivery of projects by setting your teams up for successful delivery through clear direction, removal of obstacles, and ensuring the team is focused on business goals and held accountable for their deliverables.
• The Product Owner and streamline the execution of different priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features for the team.

What You’ll Need:

• 3+ years of previous experience as an engineering manager with measurable success.
• Experience in leading projects and coaching engineers through a project’s lifecycle in an Agile environment, utilizing Scrum and/or Kanban.
• High expertise of Software Design.
• Experience working with distributed and scalable microservices. Superb leadership skills and the ability to harness the team to produce the highest quality deliverables with the greatest velocity, working in a high paced environment.
• Ability to attract and hire great engineers, empower and mentor them toward success.
• An ability to work with a remote team and lead them to sustainable long-term success.
• A passionate and “can-do” type of person.
• B.S or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
